Monday, October 28, 2002: Fall is in the air, and at your feet. As we crunch the autumn leaves, in deep reds and bright yellows, and breathe in the fresh cool air, it's a great time to enjoy the natural wonder of Stamford's outdoor attractions. Start at the Bartlett Arboretum (also link, and NY-NJ-CT Botany Online). It's free, and less than 2 miles north of the Merritt Parkway on High Ridge Road. In fact, to get there, you have to pass the Stamford Museum and Nature Center with Heckscher Farm, fine art and Americana, and in November, the fun and funky art of Steve Gerberich's Mechanical Museum Dioramas.

Sunday, October 27, 2002: A beautiful day for a walk in the parks.
